Outplacement

I spend a great part of my time providing outplacement solutions to organisations. I have worked within most industry sectors - Banking & Finance, IT, Construction, Manufacturing, Consultancy Services & Retail. Projects have varied in size (up to 100 staff). I am supported by a great team of fabulous like minded associates. I play a very hands-on role in all projects. My passion is to help people and not manage people.

1-1 Career Coaching & Workshops

I have helped many job seekers achieve career goals.  I offer private 1-1 career coaching and public workshops. I help individuals at every stage of the career cycle - career direction, job search strategies, self-marketing (CVs, cover letters and Linkedin profiles) and interview coaching. My job search knowledge is current (Personal Branding, LinkedIn, Twitter, FaceBook and Web 2.0). What sets me apart is the fact that I walk what I talk each day. I have been a successful business owner (aka job seeker) for the last decade. This means I have “real world” tested everything I teach my clients. There is nothing I teach that I don’t implement in my own daily working life.

3rd Level Career Workshops

I have delivered numerous Career Workshops to 3rd Level institutions. I have run successful career/job search workshops with DKIT and ITT. I have also presented at ITB Business School Alumni.

Speaking Opportunities

I love public speaking. I have been fortunate to speak to large audiences across a range of career related topics. Recent speaking engagements - 300 people at the Monster Careers Fair – RDS Nov ’09, 100 people at Dublin City Library Career Event – Feb ‘10 (read comments), 200 people at National College of Ireland Career Boot Camp – Aug ‘10 (read comments), 150 people at Career Zoo – Mansion House ‘11 and 120 people at GradIreland Careers Fair - RDS Oct ‘10 (read comments). Topics that interest to me include – Personal Marketing (Branding), Creative Job Searching, Social Medial in Job Hunting, LinkedIn for Job seekers, Interviewing, and CVs.
